Xiaomi is all set to release their next Flagship device, the ‘Mi 6’ during the MWC 2017 which is about to happen in few weeks. We’ve had few looks of the device, thanks to the leaks. But coming to the technical specification, the device will feature an underclocked Snapdragon 835 SoC just like its previous iteration which had an underclocked Snapdragon 820 SoC.
Okay now coming to the reason which has hindered this situation is due to Korean giant Samsung who has placed a bulk order for the first lot of Snapdragon 835 SoC for their upcoming flagship and due to this the company is having difficulties to keep up to the mark. For this, LG has planned to release their flagship with a previous generation of Snapdragon processors, the Snapdragon 821 and HTC has delayed the release date of their flagship due to the unavailability of the same.
Though an underclocked processor won’t affect a device sale but it will turn down the performance by a bit but that will also help increase battery life. This is not the first time Xiaomi is doing so and hence they know the art of keeping things in a good path. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is all set for its launch in the MWC 2017 and will feature a 2k display for the first time ever in the history of their devices. It will come in multiple RAM and storage variants like its predecessor and might also come in a different screen variant too. It’s too vague to give random guesses but all of the curiosity will be taken care in coming weeks when the device goes official.
